Dr Yewande has become a well-known figure within the dental industry and has made a big impact within a short period of time. She was recently listed as one of the most influential social stars within the dental profession for the work she does to promote dentistry in a positive light, educate the public and mentor dental school applicants, through her Instagram page and YouTube Channel.

She was the winner of the FGDP (UK) Dental Student of the Year Award and Academic Case Presentation Prize which she received for her exceptional achievement and demonstrable passion for oral health and dentistry. She has published articles, provided student lectures for Colgate and featured on the Cover of Young Dentist Magazine in August 2020.

Yewande is focused on continuously learning to improve her skills and goes above and beyond to provide high-quality work for her patients. Transforming patients’ lives through her work, is what keeps her motivated. She has developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. This led her to embark on several post-graduate courses and is currently completing a Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

Yewande has a caring approach and has developed a soft spot for children and adults that have a fear of dentists. She always strives to put them at ease with her friendly, approachable nature and warm smile. Furthermore, she is passionate about building connections with her patients and educating them about the importance of prevention to avoid dental problems in future.
