Create an accountThe one year results show that the 2800 ppm fluoride toothpaste was most effective in the prevention of caries, as it showed the lowest DMFS and DMFT increment after 1 year of use. It reduced DMFS increment by 20.4% versus a 1100 ppm fluoride toothpaste and 17.4% in DMFT increment.
